23 Month Snapshots

More times than not, when I pull out the camera Garrison will say 'no cama, Mama'.

hmmm....I may have taken just a few too many pictures over the past almost-two-years.

So this is the best I could do -

Daddy's helper

During our 'snow', Nathan had a great big helper building fires to keep us warm!

So thankful for my two boys who did so good keeping us all warm & toasty! :)

Waiting for the snow...

that never really came...certainly not the 4-8 inches we were hoping for!

Well, it was mainly ice, but we played it in anyways during lunch today...
Garrison was a little unsure at first.

He just walked around checking it out.

Then he started thinking the 'crunch' sound was pretty funny...

Nana showed him how to make a snowball!
(yes, we tried to make him wear gloves and a hat, but it just wasn't gonna happen...)

He threw the snowballs to/at his Daddy...

Then his Daddy showed him how to throw them at the tree - rather than at his Daddy! ha!

Then we told him it was time to come inside.
He did not like that idea...
Poor little fella...he sure can roll a lip!

Priceless.

He is saying so many funny things these days - I really need to be writing them down/blogging them. When I picked him up from Nana's today, he was saying 'snowman on mama's car'...it really was just snow, but over Christmas we've talked about snowmen and such - so about mid-day he decided that all the 'snow' was called 'snowman'. Mama said he'd look out the window and holler 'snowman' just seeing the little bit of snow that was lingering. Cute little fella'!

Christmas at Nana & Papaw's

After a good nap, we headed to Nana & Papaw's house for supper & more presents!!

Yep - more tractors & a wheelbarrow!

Garrison & his Daddy had a little too much fun doing this...

Tee neeeded some help opening her present...

His new pottery barn chair and a rocking horse!

Putting the trailer on his tractor...

Then he had a blast emptying his stocking into the wheelbarrow!

He also got a Mickey Mouse four wheeler from Nana & Papaw...pictures of that to come!

Christmas at Sassy & Pop's

After checking out all that Santa brought, we headed to Sassy & Pop's house...

Garrison got pretty good at tearing into the paper - especially when he could tell there was a tractor inside!

Hillarious moment - as Pop helped him open this...Garrison says 'oooh balls!!!'

Then the next gift was a fun tent! Yep - he loves it!!
I hope Sassy & Pop love it too because I bet they are going to be spending a lot of time in there!!

Then Uncle Bill & Aunt Suzanne gave him a tractor too! This boy LOVES tractors!!

Then we played dirty santa - Nathan stole this nerf gun and he & Pop had a great time shooting everyone...

...and so did Garrison...
(don't you love the look on his great-grandmother's face?!?!)

by the way...poor Lucy hates this nerf gun...
